On Friday October 12th there will be an open house that will be held at the Relief Fire station located at 1020 Neck Rd. Burlington, NJ. The day will begin with a blood drive at 5PM, the main events will then continue at Relief Fire Station starting at 7PM. There will be various games/ learning activities for kids and adults to participate in. Things like fire extinguisher training, trivia games, a fireman relay race, firefighter gear to try on, tour the station; our fire safety house; the apparatus, as well as fire truck rides. We will have refreshments available and some prizes to give away as well.

There will also be other "vendors" visiting/ available to offer their services to the community. Some of the parent associations from the township schools will be there, Rite-Aid will be offering a flu shot clinic, the boy scouts and girl scouts have been invited, the food pantry will be taking donations- to name a few.

The Burlington Township Fire Department has partnered with the American Red Cross to hold, what we hope to become, an annual blood drive. This event will be held at Station #301 located at 1601 Burlington Bypass Burlington, NJ. Blood Donations will be accepted from 2:00-8:00 PM on Friday March 30th, 2012.

The Burlington Township Fire Department (BTFD) has had the pleasure of partnering with many scout troops this year. We have had several boy and girl scout troops visit the home of the Independent Fire Co. #1 (Sta. 301) on the Burlington By-Pass.
